Meet Corinne Grossman
Sensory Space Designs was founded by Corinne Grossman, OTR/L. She is a licensed Pediatric Occupational Therapist and a sensory-inclusive interior design consultant, with over 30 years’ experience, who graduated from New York University with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy. Ms. Grossman is a New York State Certified Early Intervention provider and a Nassau County Certified Committee on Preschool Special Education provider. She has extensive experience providing assessment and treatment services to pediatric clients from birth through adolescence with a wide variety of diagnoses in both traditional and non-traditional home, preschool, school, and community settings. Ms. Grossman has coached and collaborated with parents and professionals and trained them to implement regularly scheduled sensory-based strategies in the form of Sensory Diets.
As a sensory-inclusive interior design consultant, Ms. Grossman works with families of children in the home and school staff in community settings to modify their surroundings. She also collaborates with professionals and administrators to implement environmental changes in sensory clinics, and classrooms in elementary and middle school programs. Ms. Grossman is excited to be following her passion, creating customized sensory spaces that promote harmony and well-being for ALL children, regardless of their needs or abilities.
