Sensory Space Parent Training
Regular opportunities for sensory input are key to maintaining a system that is in a “just right state.” Allow a certified occupational therapist to train you in the most effective use of your sensory equipment to implement a therapeutic program at home. Consistent access to therapeutic input in your new sensory space will most effectively meet your child’s needs.
How it Works:
*For the most effective results, the Parent Training option is recommended in conjunction with the Personalized Sensory Schedule / Sensory Diet option.
How it Works:
- A certified occupational therapist will devise a home therapy session for your child tailored to his/her sensory needs.
- During a sensory-focused parent training therapy session (in-home or virtual), the therapist will demonstrate step-by-step how to best use your sensory equipment to implement the Sensory Schedule / Sensory Diet.
